- Track Name: Dandelion Heart
-
Are you way up there?
I hope that you are listening, hope to hear you whispering
how long can this heart beat
sink or swim is what they tell me and I'm a little scared
I'm jumping in the deep
but you can turn it all around and put me back in
the ground where you once found
my dandelion heart
what have I become
Am I the only one still hanging from a tree
shaking like a leaf
what if I should run
I'm like a ghost with noone to haunt
running from the dark
You will always shine
and together we'll brave the winters
you'll open up my eyes
and let me see your bigger than
what the world keeps telling me
what the world keeps telling me
You will hold me in your hands
and there i know my heart will be safe
Am I just a grain of sand?
the dust of a mountain that once could stand
and you know i can't stand long
you had to bring me to my knees just to put me back
on my feet again
you can turn it all around and put me back in
the ground where you once found my dandelion heart
- Track Name: Ships
-
when the wind picks up
can it carry me home
I'm a lost ship
stuck in the sea all alone
so rock me in your storm
cause the sleeping is hard sometimes
When the rain picks up
will the blue skies shine
then at night
I'll watch the northern lights
just to calm my heart
cause the breathing is hard sometimes
off to wherever
into whatever
- Track Name: Strangers
-
The clouds were hanging low, so low I couldn't see two feet in front of me. It was like a dream. I was trying to get home sailing through a sea of clouds. You were on my mind I just thought of all the times I knew that you'd be here, everyday of every year, but here we are again taking everything for granted
I can only carry so much, I'll take what I can. I hope to be understood and for you to understand. If we could just hold on, or maybe just go on like we were never strangers.
So go on as you would, I hope I have the words to say that would make you stay. I know you think I'm strange I can't help the way I think it's like we are always speaking different languages. So here we meet again, and your hearts in repair. Maybe it's the end of something that's never been, but we're people after all and it's only time that seperates us.
The oak trees are growing taller than they've ever been. Gorgeous is looking through my eyes again. Sun and moon, you and I, open hearts and open eyes.
- Track Name: No One's Listening
-
Wait oh wait please the secret's out, but no one's listening
The stars are singing songs while the moonlight dances on, but no one's listening
But the leaves are rustling with rumors it's gonna change. There's a splinter in my heart I'm a desperate flame, and I'm captured by this glimpse of better days
Time is moving on and the future and the past are keeping me from meeting you here. Well maybe if I lost everything If it all could disappear., till all that's left is you here.
- Track Name: All Things New
-
It’s cold I can feel it through the windows
And your eyes are glassy and you know
It’s been twelve long years since you ever laid eyes on my soul
It’s so hard to see you slip away, on the day we made our Father’s birth a holiday
We will ruin anything, but I keep wondering what hope will bring
Some people say praying is like wishing
But I’ve never had wishes come true
It’s been twelve whole years of waiting for Your hand to move
It’s like watching the world in fast motion
Waiting for love and truth to bloom
I still whisper to the morning, and it keeps telling me to look for You
and all things new
- Track Name: Walk On
-
there's a people
who are windswept
body shaking
to take another step
Somethings rattling
here in our chests
and its louder
yet a whisper
and it's fading
yet it's so clear
there's a worn edge
on a cliffside
there is a lulling
in the swolen tide
into the unknown
where no one wants to go
its too safe here
above or below
we will make it
but not on our own
There's fire
that keeps getting higher
There are monsters
that tear us apart
we're surrounded
and we're trapped here
in a prison full of our fears
there's a door
with no key hole
and no handle
if it wasn't for you
they would have killed
us
but we will walk on
we will walk on
we will walk on
(everyone screams) we will walk through that door
